Probably born around 1505, Stefano dall’Arzere is said to have been a pupil of Titian and to have worked with Campagnola. A number of his frescoes survive in Padua, characterized by forceful and striking figure types. His drawings have frequently been attributed to Campagnola, but a full understanding of his graphic style has not yet been achieved.
